Summer Camp 2012 Updated
Summer camp will be June 9-16 at Camp Cris Dobbins, near Elbert Colorado.
Travel to and from camp will be by bus on June 9 and 16.
The links below have further information. The leader's guide is
not just for leaders; it has a wealth of information on the camp and
preparing to visit. It's worth a read for what scouts should bring,

About Troop and Crew 905
The reason that the Boy Scouts of America exists is to prepare
young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by
instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. At Troop 905 we
look for fun ways to make that happen and the outdoors is the place we
do that!
Our program is planned to have the young men in our Troop
actually make the stuff happen. They are involved at every level from
planning the year, the meetings, the campouts to making it all run. The
adults are there to provide guidance and to keep Troop 905 true to the
ideals of Scouting. This program is open to boys through age 18.
Additionally, for young adults over the age of 14 who have completed
the 8th grade, we have started a coed Venture program which gives
even more responsibility in running the "crew" and looks for more High
Adventure opportunities in the outdoors.
While you are here, take a look at our
calendar
and see what the guys have planned. Better yet, give one of the leaders listed in the
adult leaders section
a call to talk about Scouting or Venturing and
what Troop 905 is all about.
We have a great group of young men in Troop 905 and we welcome you to check us out.
